  • Which projects are included in District Seven’s Five-Year Work Program?
  • The Five-Year Work Program includes roadway planning activities, preliminary engineering, right of way acquisition, construction and public transportation projects within Citrus, Hernando, Hillsborough, Pasco, and Pinellas Counties planned by FDOT and the Florida Turnpike Enterprise. The selection of the projects involves extensive coordination with local governments, including Metropolitan Planning Organizations and city and county officials and input from citizens to select road, transit, and enhancement projects that maintain and improve safety, reduce congestion, and increase mobility.

  • What is a "Fiscal Year"?
  • The State of Florida’s fiscal year begins July 1, and ends on June 30. The fiscal years covered in the Tentative Five-Year Work Program are 2019 to 2023, which begins July 1, 2018 and ends on June 30, 2023.

  • How can I get involved?

  • Does the Work Program include all projects in this area?
  • The Work Program only includes projects with state or federal involvement and select locally funded projects. The Work Program does not include all projects planned/funded by local agencies/governments.
